The Department of Health have produced a Healthy Child Programme, which covers pregnancy and the first five years of childhood. It can be found here. The NHS has also published an interactive timeline of what you should expect from your child, from birth to five years which can be found here.

Childhood illness:
A guide on common childhood illnesses can be found here, it gives information on; the NHS services provided, the first few months, illnesses and general welfare. It is a really useful guide which provides peace of mind so you can access the appropriate service when it is needed; hard copies are also available in the practice.

Vaccination:
The childhood vaccination schedule is available on our website here. However for further information can be found on the NHS Choices website, gov.uk and in the Green Book which has the latest information on vaccines and vaccination procedures, for vaccine preventable infectious diseases in the UK.

Drop in clinics are run every Thursday, 2-4pm at the practice to provide any vaccinations, on the schedule, which have been missed or are now due. You do not need to make an appointment to attend the clinic.
